Meet Our Founder
Mike McCandless began his career in 2003 working at the largest vacant property security company in the United States. During his tenure there, he helped propel the business from a handful of depots to having a national presence of 15 depots at one point during Mike’s tenure. Mike led the continual enhancement and implementation of operational best-practices and the organization’s lean initiative across the business to ensure efficiency resulting in reduced costs and improved client retention. Mike also partnered with some of the largest property preservation firms and successfully protected and managed properties ensuring that any services provided were within industry standard guidelines. After spending 20 years working in the vacant property space, Mike decided it was time to shake things up and the concept of SiteArmor started to become a reality. Mike is a highly skilled and successful leader with comprehensive experience coordinating personnel, equipment, resources, and general logistics while ensuring stringent compliance with regulations. His expertise lies in successfully managing operational processes, developing best practices, planning inventory, monitoring equipment and personnel logistical activities, and leveraging internal systems to facilitate improved efficiency and performance. Mike became adept in ensuring adherence to organizational goals and requirements while facilitating streamlined logistical operations and motivating team members to peak performance levels.
Anthony Pocorobba
Anthony (Tony) Pocorobba is a seasoned executive with more than two decades of leadership in the vacant property security and preservation industry. He began his career with VPS (Vacant Property Security), where he advanced to First Vice President of U.S. Operations. Over his tenure, Tony played a key role in strengthening client retention, developing scalable administrative systems, and improving cash flow through enhanced billing and collections protocols.
He helped guide the organization through pivotal transitions, aligning internal procedures with evolving ownership structures while maintaining stability across client accounts, compliance documentation, and service standards. His leadership helped support both financial continuity and operational trust during times of change.
In 2023, Tony launched APC Advisors, a consulting firm dedicated to operational excellence, strategic growth, and system design. His work spans CRM and billing infrastructure, readiness planning, and process optimization, helping businesses scale while staying lean and client focused.
As Chief Relationship Officer at SiteArmor, Tony leads national client partnerships and strategic growth efforts. His steady leadership, administrative precision, and deep client insight make him an integral part of SiteArmor’s ongoing success and expansion.
Juan Munoz
Juan brings deep operational expertise and a leadership style rooted in integrity, consistency, and a strong mission focus to his role as Director of Operations.
Before joining us, Juan spent over 14 years with VPS, where he became known for his reliability and problem-solving skills. As the Philadelphia Service Center Manager, he was instrumental in keeping operations running smoothly and played a key role in supporting other U.S. markets during crucial growth phases. Whether it was a crunch-time installation, a tough removal, or simply ensuring a region kept humming along, Juan was always the one you could count on to get the job done.
Prior to his extensive career in the private sector, Juan proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. His military background is marked by diverse roles, including time in the Infantry and the NBC (Nuclear, Biological & Chemical) Response Platoon. He even worked directly under the 1st Marine Division General at Division Safety aboard Camp Pendleton. This invaluable experience forged a strong command presence and an unmatched attention to detail—two traits that align perfectly with SiteArmor’s culture and operational vision.
